Our core services are free. Submitting your manuscript is free. We convert your manuscript for free. We place it on its own page on our website for free.
However, if your manuscript requires proof reading, or significant editing, there is a charge of £100 or $130.
And if you would like a dpdotcom custom designed cover for your book, again, there is a charge of £95 or $125. Please check out some dpdotcom designs here.
dpdotcom also offers all our authors, free of charge, the chance to see their work published as a bookstore quality paperback. We use the excellent lulu.com print-on-demand service, or the equally excellent createspace.com service from amazon.
dpdotcom will prepare your manuscript, design a cover and sell your paperback for you on the lulu.com website, in our createspace estore, on sellfy.com and in our own book store on our own website. That is all part of the dpdotcom service.
Once published, dpdotcom will feature your book on its own sales page in the dpdotcom book store. It will also be featured on our sellfy.com ebook store. And your work will also be featured on some of the largest online outlets like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, the iBook store etc. In that way, customers will have every chance of finding your book in the format they require.
And as a published author, you will earn royalties on all ebooks and paperbacks you sell through dpdotcom and other outlets. Check our royalties page for details.
However, dpdotcom digital publishing cannot devote its limited resources to actively marketing your book – that is something you will need to do. See our marketing page for some marketing ideas and sound advice.
