We are currently accepting submissions of poetry, short stories or full length novels from new and established authors. Submission is absolutely free!

Full Manuscript Submission Guidelines:

The Subject Line of your email must be “Full Submission”

Please follow these instructions carefully - failure to submit your work in the correct way might mean it is lost amongst the spam.

Our recommended length for fiction manuscripts is 40,000 to 100,000 words. Short stories should be between 5,000 and 35,000 words. Poetry should be a collection of between 30 and 50 poems.

The manuscript should be in either MS Word or in Rich Text Format (rtf)

It should be a complete work, proof-read for errors, and spell-checked. Nobody wants to read a badly written work! We will read your work carefully, assessing its potential. It is your responsibility, as author, to make sure your work is up to standard.

If we have to edit your work in any significant way - in other words, correct more than a few typos - we will charge you a fee of $99.00 or £50.00

We will acknowledge receipt of your full submission by email

We will respond to your submission as quickly as we can - usually within a week.

What happens next?

You will – under normal circumstances – hear from us within 3 weeks regarding our decision to proceed with your submission. We confidently expect the vast majority of submissions to be accepted for ebook publication, but some will be rejected. We set high standards for our ebooks, because we know the public will only buy ebooks of the highest quality.

If we accept your work and proceed to epublish it, we will let you know by email as soon as we can. That is the start of your partnership with dpdotcom - we will include you in every aspect of marketing your work, because we want that partnership to be long, happy and successful.

If your manuscript is not accepted, we will have the courtesy to inform you of our decision – but that decision is final.
